城大 CityU GPA、Advanced Standing、Honours、AI 政策官方規例解讀（2026 更新）

好多 CityU 同學到出咗 SGPA、收到 warning email 或者諗緊畢業點分 honours，先至去搜尋 CityU GPA。最大陷阱係：你 Google 搜到「First Class 要 CGPA 3.5」——呢個對某啲 cohort 啱，但如果你係 2020/21–2023/24 入學嘅 4-year student，你係走 Latin honours 制度嗰批，用嘅係 ranking，唔係 fixed CGPA cutoff。本文只整理 CityU 公開規例有明文嘅本科內容，英文 blockquote 係官方原句；每個「搵唔到官方文件」都係刻意留白，唔會攞其他學校套落嚟。

如果你而家正面對某個 course、college／school 或 final-year project 嘅實際決定，本文只可以幫你定位規例，唔會取代 ARRO 或 college 嘅書面答覆。尤其係入學年份、college 分派、programme requirement 可以不同；收到正式通知時，先圈住通知入面嘅日期、對象同 section number，再去問清楚自己嗰個 case。咁樣先唔會將一段通用 AR，誤當成你已經被批咗嘅個別安排。

SGPA、CGPA 同 4.3 grade scale

The GPA is obtained by adding all the quality points (i.e., grade points multiplied by the number of credit units) for all courses taken during the student’s undergraduate studies at the University, and then dividing the result by the total number of credit units taken. All course grades, unless excluded as approved by Senate, are included in the calculation. The GPA calculation shall not be rounded. Any digits after the second digit to the right of a decimal point shall be truncated.

CityU Academic Regulations for Undergraduate Degrees — GPA

When calculating the GPA for all courses taken at the time of calculation, it is known as the Cumulative GPA (CGPA). When calculating the GPA for a given semester/term, it is known as the Semester GPA (SGPA).

CityU AR — SGPA vs CGPA

用法先分開：一個 semester 成績差，最即時要望 SGPA；你有冇累積到 warning／probation 線，要睇 CGPA；到畢業分 honours，就要按你入學年份分辨用邊套規則。官方亦明寫「All course grades, unless excluded as approved by Senate, are included in the calculation」，意思即係任何 exclusion 都需要 Senate approval，唔係你 email 一句就可以。

對比 浸大 GPA 規例 講嘅 4.0 scale，CityU 呢度係 4.3。表面同樣講「3.7」，意思可以唔同：CityU 3.7 = A-，但 4.0 scale 嘅學校 3.7 就未必對應 A-。如果你係 exchange、報研究生或者整 CV，附上 official scale 一齊呈交，唔好叫對方自己估。想按 rubric 收窄 essay 主題嘅同學，可以參考 UniWriterPro 嘅 Essay 代寫服務，由專業寫手一對一按你 course brief 起草。

再留意一個字：「grade with an asterisk（e.g. B+*）is excluded from the calculation of GPA」。呢啲通常出現喺重讀之前嘅 attempt 上，credit 唔計入畢業 minimum、但計入最大可讀 credit units 上限。如果你 transcript 見到 asterisk，先問清楚係咪重讀後上一次 attempt 被 exclude；唔好自行推論。

對 CityU 同學而言，A+ 呢一格特別有價值。因為 4.3 scale 令頂分可以爬到 CGPA 4.0 以上——同 4.0 scale 學校比較起嚟，你其實有多一格空間拉高總分。但呢個「上限比 4.0 高」嘅特性亦令 CGPA 3.5 呢個 First Class threshold 唔算最頂：實際 top 5% 嘅同學普遍 CGPA 3.7 至 4.0；到 3.9 或以上先算穩坐 top 2% Latin honours summa 帶。呢個唔係校方公開嘅 target，而係 CGPA 分布上嘅實務觀察，用嚟做長線規劃參考、唔用嚟 claim 校規。

Truncate 而唔係 rounding 呢個細節，實際上會影響 borderline case。例如你 CGPA 計出嚟係 3.499999999，官方 truncate 後係 3.49——即係唔會四捨五入去到 First Class 3.50 呢條線。呢個位對「幾乎到 threshold」嘅同學好重要：唔好用普通 round-half-up 個 mindset 去推算 result。實際做法：如果你目標係 First Class，畢業前一個 semester 已經要確認自己 GPA 過返 3.50 而唔係「近 3.50」，因為 truncation 冇 mercy。想 final year 幫手處理個大論文以搶返啲時間讀 core courses 嘅同學，可以了解 Thesis／Dissertation 代寫服務。

傳統 Honours 分類 — First/Upper Second/Lower Second/Third/Pass

The University grants bachelor’s degree awards with the following classifications: First Class Honours; Upper Second Class Honours; Lower Second Class Honours; Third Class Honours; Pass. The various classifications are based on the CGPAs. The general guidelines are as follows:

CityU AR 17.3.1–17.3.2

In all cases of classification of awards, the CGPAs cited above are indicative. The Dean has the right, upon the recommendation of the respective academic unit, to make exceptions in the application of the indicative GPAs.

CityU AR 17.3.3

兩個位要提防：一，官方用「indicative」呢個字——即係 Dean 有權按 academic unit 建議做例外處理，唔係你到咗 3.50 CGPA 就自動 lock 埋 First Class。二，畢業 minimum CGPA 分兩批：2019/20 或之前入學嘅係 1.70；2020/21 或之後入學嘅係 2.00。呢個直接影響 Pass classification 有冇你份。同 中大 GPA 規例 對照時可以留意 threshold 差異。

Bachelor’s degrees students will be eligible for graduation if they: complete the graduation requirements for the degree, achieve a CGPA of 2.00 or above (for students admitted from Semester A 2020/21 onwards); achieve a CGPA of 1.70 or above (for students admitted prior to Semester A 2020/21).

CityU ARRO — Award Classifications 畢業 CGPA minimum

對讀者最實用嘅唔係死記數字，係將 CGPA 分兩層去睇：畢業門檻（1.70 或 2.00）同 honours band 門檻（1.70–3.50+）。你可以每個 semester 出成績後對照三件事：而家 CGPA、離畢業 minimum 距離、離下一級 honours band 距離。想 track 更仔細嘅同學，記低每科 credits、grade、grade point，唔好只 screenshot 一個總數。

另外要留意 AR 17.3.4 呢一句：「College/School Deans classify awards with regard to, but not necessarily in strict conformity with, a student’s CGPA.」——即係實際頒 honours 時，Dean 可以基於整體 profile（例如個別 borderline case、programme practice）做調整，唔係 CGPA 到 3.50 就自動 lock 到 First。呢個唔係校方會經常 override，而係規例保留咗做例外處理嘅空間。你唔應該用「我 3.51 一定 First」嚟建計劃；反過來，去到 3.48–3.49 呢啲 borderline，都可以透過 academic advisor 或 department 表達你想爭取 higher classification 嘅意願，但最終仍需要 academic unit 建議加 Dean 決定。

Double degree 都適用返一套規則。AR 17.3.5 明寫「the above guidelines also apply in determining the classification of awards for a double degree, and the classifications to be awarded should be endorsed by both the College/School Deans concerned」——即係讀雙學位嘅同學，兩個 degree 嘅 classification 都要由 兩位 College／School Dean 共同 endorse。如果你其中一個 major 表現特別好、另一個 borderline，兩個 degree 頒嘅 classification 未必一模一樣。想爭取兩個 major 都拿高 classification，實際上需要兩邊 department 都認可你嘅 profile。

Latin honours — summa/magna/cum laude（cohort limited）

For Students on Programmes of a Normal Study Duration of 4 Years or More (Admitted from 2020/21 to 2023/24), Advanced Standing I Students (Admitted from 2021/22 to 2023/24) and Advanced Standing II Students (Admitted from 2022/23 to 2023/24). Degrees with Distinction are awarded based on the CGPA ranking for students in the respective departments/schools graduating in the same semester/term. Students who have fulfilled the stipulated graduation requirements and rank in the top 2% will receive a degree with summa cum laude (Highest Distinction). Those who rank in the top 7% but not in the top 2% will receive a degree with magna cum laude (High Distinction). Those who rank in the top 15% but not in the top 7% will receive a degree with cum laude (Distinction).

CityU AR 17.4.1

Latin honours 同傳統 honours 最大分別，係「你嘅 CGPA 高低唔係唯一因素——同期同 department／school 畢業嘅 CGPA 分布先係」。假設你係 2022/23 入學嘅 4-year student，同你 same-cohort、同 department 畢業嘅其他學生分數比較後，你要係 top 2% 先攞到 summa。呢個機制令 honours class 冇一個「你到咗 CGPA X 就 lock」嘅絕對 threshold；搵唔到官方文件 有公開歷屆各 department 嘅 CGPA cutoff 記錄。畢業前想調整策略嘅話，直接問 college registrar 你 department 過往 cohort 嘅實際 ranking 分布會更實際。

A “corresponding honours” based on the student’s CGPA would be displayed on their academic transcripts according to the existing guidelines on Honour Classifications as stipulated under Section 17.3.2 of the Academic Regulations for Undergraduate Degrees.

好留意呢一句：喺 Latin honours cohort 期間，你嘅 academic transcript 除咗 summa／magna／cum laude 之外，仲會顯示「對應嘅」傳統 honours class（按 AR 17.3.2 CGPA thresholds）。即係話你嘅 transcript 會同時列兩套 honours；申請研究生、獎學金或 exchange 時，兩個 line 都可能被外界睇到，寫 personal statement 或 CV 時避免只講一個。想 final year 集中處理論文而非 job hunt 嘅同學，可了解 Thesis／Dissertation 代寫服務同FYP 代寫服務，由富有經驗寫手一對一跟進。

Cohort locked 呢件事係 CityU 制度嘅 core：你入學嗰年係邊個制度，畢業時就用邊個。唯一嘅例外係延畢個案——例如你係 2020/21 入學嘅 4-year student，但延到 2026 先畢業，你依然係 Latin honours cohort。呢個部分官方公開嘅 verbatim 條文只講 cohort year，冇公開講延畢會唔會令 cohort rule 改變，搵唔到官方文件；一定要早啲問 ARRO 定 college registrar 書面確認，唔可以靠估。

Latin honours 制度嘅另一個實務影響：你嘅同 department 同 cohort 學生表現越好，你越難拎 top 2%。相反傳統 First Class 只要 CGPA 到 3.50 就有，唔受同期其他人影響。呢個 dynamics 對某啲熱門 department（例如 Computer Science、Business）尤其明顯——競爭直接反映喺 ranking 上。想同一個 cohort 內爬到 top 2%，你唔止要顧自己表現，仲要間接觀察同一 department 嘅 GPA 分布——雖然校方唔會公開 real-time ranking，但 department 內每年 exchange application、獎學金 shortlist 分數線都可以間接反映。

AR 17.4.3 亦有 double degree 特別安排：「The above award rankings also apply in determining the classification of awards for a double degree, and the classifications to be awarded should be endorsed by both the College/School Deans concerned.」意思即係如果你係 Latin honours cohort 讀 double degree，你嘅 ranking 需要喺兩個 department 分別 apply——你有可能其中一個 major 攞到 magna cum laude，另一個 major 因為分布不同只攞 cum laude。呢個唔係 error，係規例設計如此。

Advanced Standing I 同 II — credit units 分別

Students admitted with advanced standing may complete the degree with a minimum of 60 or 90 credit units, subject to the requirements of individual degrees/majors.

CityU AR 6.1

Advanced Standing I students have to achieve a minimum requirement of 90 credit units for graduation subject to the requirements of individual colleges/schools, and the maximum number of credit units completed should not exceed 114. Such students should fulfil the following minimum degree requirements, in addition to any other requirements stipulated by the cognizant academic unit: A major; College/School requirements, if any; Gateway Education requirement of 22 credit units; University Language Requirements.

CityU AR 6.4.1–6.4.2

Advanced Standing II students have to achieve a minimum requirement of 60 credit units for graduation subject to the requirements of individual colleges/schools, and the maximum number of credit units completed should not exceed 84. Such students should fulfil the following minimum degree requirements, in addition to any other requirements stipulated by the cognizant academic unit: A major; College/School requirements, if any; Gateway Education requirement of 12 credit units; University Language Requirements.

CityU AR 6.5.1–6.5.2

校方對 AS I 嘅 GE requirement 仲有 cohort 分別：官方 footnote 明寫「The Gateway Education requirement of 22 credit units mentioned in AR 6.4.2 only applies to students admitted in 2025/26 and thereafter. For students admitted in 2024/25 and before, the Gateway Education requirement is 21 credit units.」——即係如果你係 2024/25 或之前 AS I intake，GE 只計 21 credit units 而唔係 22。呢啲 credit unit 唔係湊夠就過，好多時要包含指定 category 分佈，實際數字要對返你嗰個 major 嘅 curriculum sheet。

Attainment of a double degree requires a minimum of 120 and 90 credit units for Advanced Standing I and Advanced Standing II students respectively.

CityU AR 6.6.2

雙學位安排要記多 30 credits：AS I 由 90 升到 120，AS II 由 60 升到 90。呢個對想 AS 入學再讀雙學位嘅同學好關鍵——正常 4-year student 讀雙學位一般唔會即時延畢，但 AS 學生因為原本已有 credit exemption，實際能唔能夠 fit 到多個 major schedule 內畢業，要早啲同 college 對 timetable。做 major requirement report、business case 或 marketing plan 嗰啲高分 coursework 想外判，可以參考 UniWriterPro 嘅 Coursework & Case Study 代做，由對應學科寫手一對一按 brief 交件。

各 college／school 對 AS 入學嘅 credit exemption breakdown（例如點樣分派入 major elective、GE、free elective）搵唔到官方文件 有全校統一 table，通常要 case-by-case 對照 offer letter 同 curriculum sheet。真係要問，可以用一封短 email 註明你嘅入學 category、programme code、你想確認嘅 credit distribution 邊個 category 未見到 exemption，直接寄去 college 或 ARRO。

AS 學生成日俾人問：可唔可以再攞 credit transfer？CityU 官方唔會 automatic 額外批——AS 入學嘅 offer 本身已經包含 credit exemption，一般唔會再有 additional transfer entitlement。如果你係 AS 學生但期間再讀 exchange 或 summer school，返到 CityU 想 transfer 返 credit，實際處理由 college 個別批。呢個位官方 AR 條文冇明文，同樣 搵唔到官方文件 有全校統一 policy，只可以個別 case-by-case。同 科大 HKUST 對比：HKUST 有明確嘅 credit transfer policy 而且 GGA first-year half-weight concession 會受影響。CityU AS 因為冇 GGA 概念，credit transfer 對計 CGPA 冇同樣衝擊。

如果你係 4-year normal duration programme 想 double major，唔係 AS 入學，credit units minimum 亦跟返 double degree 標準。實際 planning 要留意 3 件事：（1）double degree 嘅 credit units minimum 通常會多 30；（2）你會有 2 個 department 嘅 major requirement 要滿足；（3）雙 department 之間 courses overlap 嘅 counts 有明文限制。呢啲細則同 curriculum sheet 一齊對，唔好只睇 total credit。想按 rubric 集中處理其中一個 major 論文嘅同學，可以了解 Coursework 服務。

重讀規則 — 只計最新一次 grade

Unless otherwise specified, students may repeat a course, or an equivalent course, to recover a failure or to improve a course grade of D, subject to the concerned course’s offering schedule and availability. Only two repeat attempts may be permitted. Course grades for all attempts will appear on the student’s academic transcript, but only the final grade earned will be included in the calculation of the student’s CGPA.

Students fail a required course in their study programme the third time will result in termination of studies.

CityU ARRO — Course Grades

對比 HKUST CGA 規例——HKUST 2018–19 新制係 previous F 同新 grade equal weight 計 CGA；CityU 就相反，只計最新。呢個規則對 planning 有兩個影響：一，如果你 fail 咗一科而現時 CGPA 唔理想，重讀成功後 CGPA 只會反映新 grade——即係 previous F 唔會拖住你；二，你係 required course 上 fail 到第三次就會 termination，所以睇似「安全」嘅重讀機會，實際上 fail 一次已經用咗一個機會，重讀又 fail 只剩最後一次可以再試。

Business、Computing、Engineering 或 Media 嘅個案研究、engineering report、data analysis project 想按 rubric 重新整理，可參考 Coursework & Case Study 代做服務，Year 4 有大論文要交嘅可另外選 FYP 代寫服務同Thesis／Dissertation 代寫。CityU 呢種「只計最新 grade」係 planning 上嘅一個 window——但唔等於重讀係無代價：你嘅時間、pre-requisite chain、下一 semester course load 全部要重新計。實際安排下一次選科前，去 AIMS 對照 course offering、prerequisite 同你自己 remaining credit 上限；如果係 major required course，要問 department 何時再開。

另一個容易中伏位係「我 B- 想重讀拉高 CGPA」。CityU 規例寫得直接：只可以重讀 F 或 D；已經 pass 到 C- 或以上嘅 course 唔可以重讀 improve grade。呢個限制同 HKUST 一樣，但同某啲 3-year system 嘅英國大學不同——切勿假設「pass 得低就可以再試」。真係想 improve 你嘅 CGPA 而唔係 rescue failure，實際做法係下一 semester 加 elective 或者揀 credit 較高嘅 major course 全力衝好 grade。

Academic Warning、Probation 、Suspension — SGPA + CGPA 交叉表決定

Academic standing provides an indicator of students in academic difficulty needing academic advising and extra help. The three levels of academic standing are defined as follows: Academic Warning — Students’ academic performance has been unsatisfactory, or their overall academic average is below minimum requirements. Students on warning should seek advice from their academic advisor. Academic Probation — Students’ academic performance has been extremely unsatisfactory, or their overall academic average has continued to be below the minimum requirements for graduation. Students on Academic Probation may be required to take a reduced study load and to fulfil specific conditions such as an SGPA attainment of 2.00 in the following semester. Academic Suspension — Students who cannot benefit from course registration in the next semester/term may be suspended for an approved period of not less than one semester. Academic Suspension is designed to provide students with an opportunity to resolve the problems that are preventing them from making academic progress.

CityU AR 14.3.1

對讀者最實用嘅解讀：呢張表最大訊息係「單 semester 反彈可以救返」。例如你上 semester 係 Academic Warning，如果你今個 semester SGPA 拉返到 2.00 或以上，就唔會即時去到 Suspension；相反，如果你已經 Probation 而今個 semester 仍然 sub-2.00，就會落到 Suspension——呢個 trajectory 唔係「多過某個 CGPA 就有事」，係持續嘅 pattern。同 浸大 GPA 規例 比較，CityU 呢種階梯式設計更明確畀出「recovery window」。

官方亦有寫 Dean 可以按 academic unit 建議做 exception。實際 case 處理上，收到 warning email 之後嘅第一步應該係聯絡你 home academic unit 嘅 academic advisor——AIMS 有你 advisor 名字。呢個唔係走 formality，係規例明文設計嘅諮詢步驟。你可以問嘅具體問題：而家係邊個 standing、需要點樣先返 clear standing、要唔要減 credit load、有冇 support 資源；用書面 email 保存記錄。

Academic standing 只喺 Semester A 同 B 尾決定，Summer Term 一般唔會改變 standing（除非 Dean 要求特別 review）。修 3 credits 或以下嘅同學亦通常保留上個 standing。呢個對正在 Warning 或 Probation 嘅同學好重要：夏季自修一兩科通常唔會即時「洗底」，你需要用返 Semester A／B 嘅 SGPA 去改變 standing。

Credit transfer、Exemption 同 GE 分配

Credit transfer 個位對非本地學生、exchange 返校生同 double registration 學生特別關鍵。CityU 官方 course grades page 明寫，credit transfer 同 exemption 都唔會進入 GPA 計算——即係你外面攞返嚟嘅 grade 唔會拉高（亦唔會拉低）你 CityU CGPA。如果你想用 exchange grade improve CGPA，呢個路徑行不通；反過來，如果 exchange 成績唔理想，都唔會傷到你 CityU CGPA。想 exchange 期間論文照樣按 rubric 交足質量嘅同學，可以參考 UniWriterPro Essay 服務。

對 Advanced Standing 學生嘅另一個關鍵：AS 入學已包含 exemption 安排，唔會再重複做 credit transfer 相關批核；一般情況下 AS 學生亦冇進一步 credit transfer entitlement。實際點分派入 major、GE、free elective，就要對 offer letter 同 curriculum sheet。各 college 對 AS 學生具體 credit exemption breakdown 搵唔到官方文件 有全校統一 table，最靠譜係書面問你 college registrar。

GE requirement 嘅實際分配同你 major 有關（例如 Area 1／2／3 categories、DEC courses、English requirement），完整 GE breakdown 由 Office of Chief Information Officer 同 GE Portal 管理，唔喺 AR 內。呢個係經常演變嘅部分，寫本文時只 record 咗 AS I 22／21 credit units 同 AS II 12 credit units 呢兩個 total minimum；細分嘅 Area categorisation 同 individual course listing 一定要對照當年最新 GE Portal。

AI 誠信條文同 GenAI guidelines

Plagiarism, e.g., the failure to properly acknowledge the use of work of another person/product/tool (including results generated by artificial intelligence (AI) where the use of AI tools is allowed in an assessment task) or submission for assessment material that is not the Student’s own work or submission of substantially the same material (even a portion) for credit in more than one assessment task without proper acknowledgement.

CityU Academic Honesty Rules 2026-2027 — Section 4.1

Possession/use of unauthorised material in assessment, e.g., use of the AI-generated result that has not been expressly permitted or such use has gone beyond the defined parameters prescribed by the Course Leader.

Use of fabricated data claimed to be obtained by experimental work, or data copied or obtained by unfair means, or AI-generated fabricated citations and references.

CityU Academic Honesty Rules 2026-2027 — Section 4.7

校方對 AI 嘅立場好清晰：一係你有 explicit permission from Course Leader 用；二係即使用咗，都要按 acknowledgement 要求 disclose。三種常見「觸犯」：（1）冇 permission 用 AI；（2）有 permission 但超出 course outline 講嘅 scope（例如 outline 話可以用嚟做 grammar check，但你用嚟寫全文）；（3）AI 生成假 references。第三個位特別重要——ChatGPT／Gemini 等有 fabrication 問題，即使你係「用 AI 加速搵資料」，只要你冇再核實同引用返，就已經係 Section 4.7 明文列出嘅 offence。想避免 AI-detection 誤判自己 original writing 嘅同學，可以先睇 AI 偵測率高咗點算？五個原因同三步準備；如果係要專業寫手 draft 一份完全 original 嘅 essay，可參考 Essay 代寫服務 由對應學科寫手一對一按 brief 交件。

校方 GenAI Guidelines page 只明講「Effective from Semester A 2025/26」同分開 Staff／Student 版；一致做法係 每個 course 開學時嘅 course outline 都會列該課程對 AI 嘅授權水平。未有明文寫嘅 course 應該當「未 expressly permitted」處理——即係就算你覺得 sensible 嘅用途，都應該用 email 問 Course Leader 書面確認先做。

Turnitin similarity cutoff、AI-detection percentage、全校統一 acknowledgement wording template —— 搵唔到官方文件 有校方公開規定。呢啲位由個別 course leader 或 assessment context 決定。你唔應該假設某個 percentage「一定安全」；亦唔應該用其他大學嘅 template 直接抄過來 CityU。

其他官方冇明講嘅位

• Latin honours 制度下延畢個案嘅 cohort rule（例如 2020/21 入學但延畢到 2026 之後） —— 官方冇公開講。
• 各 college／school 自己 grading distribution／curve —— 冇喺 AR 公開。
• Turnitin 或校方 AI-detection 全校統一 similarity cutoff —— 冇校方數字。
• 遲交扣分表 —— 各 course 由 Course Leader 自訂，冇校方統一表。
• Advanced Standing 學生入學時各 college／school 具體 credit exemption breakdown —— 冇校方 table，需要對 offer letter 同 curriculum sheet。
• Course substitution 或 waiver 條件 —— 通常由 major department 個別批。
• GenAI 每科 course-level acknowledgement template 或 disclosure format —— 由 Course Leader 決定。

FAQ — 常見問題

CityU 用 SGPA 定 CGPA？兩個有咩分別？

兩個都用。SGPA（Semester GPA）計某一個 semester／term 內所有 courses；CGPA（Cumulative GPA）計你 CityU 入學到而家所有 courses（重讀時只計最新 grade）。校方 Academic Standing 用 last standing + current SGPA + current CGPA 三個變數決定你 status；畢業 honours 用 CGPA。同一個學期成績差可能未即時影響 CGPA，但會 trigger SGPA 警訊，睇返 AR 14.3.3 交叉表。

我點知自己會用傳統 honours 定 Latin honours？

睇你入學年份 + programme category。（1）4-year normal duration programme 2020/21–2023/24 intake、（2）Advanced Standing I 2021/22–2023/24 intake、（3）Advanced Standing II 2022/23–2023/24 intake——呢三批用 Latin honours（summa/magna/cum laude）。所有其他 cohort（包括 2019/20 或之前、2024/25 或之後入學嘅新同學）用傳統 First/Upper Second/Lower Second/Third/Pass。延畢個案未有明文，寫 email 去 ARRO 書面確認。

重讀後 previous F 會拖低我 CGPA 嗎？

唔會。CityU 官方明寫「only the final grade earned will be included in the calculation of the student’s CGPA」——即係重讀後只計最新一次 grade。但要注意：（1）transcript 保留全部 attempts 記錄；（2）最多兩次 repeat attempts；（3）Required course 累積 fail 三次會 termination of studies。呢個規則同 HKUST 新制（equal weight）剛好相反。

Advanced Standing I 同 II 邊個 credit units 要求多啲？

AS I 要求高：minimum 90 credit units 畢業／maximum 114；GE 22 credit units（2025/26 或之後入學）或 21 credit units（2024/25 或之前）。AS II：minimum 60 credit units／maximum 84；GE 12 credit units。做雙學位另有 minimum：AS I 120、AS II 90。實際各 major 分派 credit 入 category 唔一樣，要對照你 offer letter 同 curriculum sheet。

用咗 ChatGPT 幫我做 essay 個 references，會唔會犯校規？

視乎兩件事：（1）你嗰科 course outline 有冇明文 permit 使用 AI；（2）你有冇核實返 AI 生成嘅 references 係真嘅。CityU Academic Honesty Rules Section 4.7 明文列出「AI-generated fabricated citations and references」為 offence——即係就算你 course 有 permit AI，只要有 fake reference 就 disciplinary。實際做法係：先書面問 Course Leader 授權水平；用 AI 產生嘅 citation 每一條都親自去 database 或期刊 verify。冇明文 permission 就當作「not expressly permitted」（Section 4.5）處理。
